Setbacks. It has taken us so long time to get this record done. One might think we have been agonizing over tones, mixes, etc, but I only wish this were true. Illnesses, broken machines, and the ever so booked schedule of the Echo Lab have kept us from getting so much as a foot in the door of the studio. The time we've had in the studio has been great, and much work has been accomplished, but the prolonged inactivity between sessions has been frustrating to say the least. Hopefully we'll get something out soon.

Happy new year. Check back periodically for news and crap.

Got some shows coming up. The first is on Dec. 22 (Sat) at Club Dada and the next is on New Years Eve at Barley House as the ultimate Guided By Voices tribute: Guided By Vices! We've teamed up with Peter Schmidt (The New Year, Peter Schmidt & His Gentlemanly Scholars), Mark Hedman (Centro-matic), and Geoff Johnston (courtesy of his own bad self) to bang out some of the best rock anthems from one of the greatest bands of our time. We'll be opening for Josh Venable's amazingly entertaining Nightmare on E Street (Bruce Springsteen tribute). Go to the show, it will be fun.

10.18.07
We have a new bassist now, Jake Barnhart. Jake used to play in the great Denton band Little Grizzly and is currently finishing up his tenure with Raised By Tigers (also of Denton). We're very lucky to have him. He is a great fit and a swell fellow.

Noah will definitely be missed. We didn't kick him out or anything, he left on his own accord. Noah can build a motorcycle from scratch, design set pieces for rock shows, reconstruct an old home, rebuild a car engine, design gigantic banners and drumheads, never complains much, and you can't say enough nice things about a guy like that. We'll miss him.

Currently working on the record at the Echo Lab in Denton, TX with Matt Barnhart. Working album titles are "Comfortable in Donkey Skin" or "Beneath My Scapula Lie Dragon Wings". More stupid titles to come.

7.15.07
We've got a gaggle of songs we're gonna put to tape soon. We've already started the process a bit, and we're working out things here and there. It's been a while since we put something out that it makes me a bit uncomfortable and antsy about getting it done soon. Just looking forward to getting new stuff out there so we might have something to talk about.

3.28.07
